Cookie settings

Kerb sets what it needs to keep you signed in and to keep your place in the listing wizard. Those are necessary and are not covered here.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Their tags set cookies that tell us whether an advertisement led to a listing or an application, and let those platforms show Kerb advertisements to people who have visited. These are optional. If you decline, they are not set, and nothing else on Kerb changes.

Measurement that does not use a cookie

Separately from the choice above, when you join the launch list we tell Meta from our own server that a signup happened, so that we can tell which advertisements work. We send your email address hashed — turned into a fingerprint that cannot be read back — with the click identifier that was already on the link you followed. Nothing is set on or read from your device, so this is not affected by your answer above. We rely on our legitimate interest rather than your consent, and you can object at any time — see §12.4 of the privacy policy.

Your answer is stored in a single cookie on this device for six months, so you may be asked again after that, or if you clear your browser data. You can also refuse or delete cookies in your browser directly — refusing the necessary ones will stop the listing wizard from working.
